As has been the theme over the previous pages, this one is dedicated to yet another form of feminine restriction, control and concealment. Many would argue that the imagery below does not represent "bondage" in the traditional sense of the word, at least in Western Society. However, that being said, ask any woman who has either willingly, or more commonly, unwillingly in these troubled times, been required to wear a veil and/or a burqa, and I believe you'll get a different answer.

Try to imagine what it must be like to wear these cloying garments, and of course, there's always the curiousity about what they conceal; be it just the female form ... or ... the restraints that she may be wearing :-).

There are vast regional differences between the types of veiling and burqa wear and I've collected an assortment of pictures over the years dealing with these differences; mostly of the more restrictive type, of course.

The images below are split into two very general categories and those that don't appear to fit into either have been slotted into the closest one.

A note to the artists and photographers whose work is shown below: These images were all downloaded from assorted web sites, and thus, as public domain, are freely available to anyone who wants them. All I've done is to consolidate your work in hopes that it will bring you greater recognition.
